Hal Halpin Interviewed on PWNED Radio

July 20, 2007
Hal Halpin, fearless leader of the ECA was interviewed this week on PWNED Radio.

It's definitely worth a listen as Hal talks about politicians, censorship, AO game ratings, video game legislation, the future of the ECA, and... Jack Thompson.

Check it out here.

Full Disclosure Dept: The ECA is the parent company of GamePolitics.

Indeed a good interview.

And as th guy before me said, we need more gamer radio stations :)

Awesome interview! Hal did a great job with it :)

check out this terribly racist, ignorant comment about obama. I can't believe people can actually think politically like this! http://www.mypetpeeves.com/plog/index.php/archives/2519

Is there a transcript anywhere?

@Sam

Does your blog have any relevance to this discussion?

No, I didn't think so. Oh your just trying to generate page hits on your blog.

Sam likes spam... yes he does.

Good interview. ECA will become better and better as people join and lend their voice and opinions.

I read this as Hal Halpin gets PWNED on radio. :P

Blarg, that podcast won't play at work :(

Nice interview, I really liked it. It's great to see him pounding the pavement to get the the ECA's name out there.

I didn't realize there were so few members of the ECA so far... can the first thousand of us claim to be "founding members" or something? ;)

I like those guys, it makes me sad that we don't have a gamer radio station here in CA. =( Something like that would give my iPod a run for its money.

Nice interview, though!

ZenI felt Brutal Legends was a funny & beautiful look at the world of rock from Double Fines point of view. The only parts I wasn't hot for were the RTS bits as it felt forced. Otherwise fantastic.02/12/2012 - 1:34pm
DorthLousPassed 1.5M$. And I'd also say that Brutal Legend is far from being a bad game. I just think it was a few levels under what people expected from the people working on the project.02/11/2012 - 8:25am
TechnogeekBrutal Legend wasn't bad so much as "marketing had no idea how the game actually played", causing it to suffer accordingly.02/10/2012 - 10:38pm

GuamishI think it is in good hands. Tim did a game for the GDC award show and that was fun for how short it was.02/10/2012 - 12:22pm
