GP on Joystiq: 2007 was Politician Heaven

December 31, 2007
...the one in which GP explains why politicians had even more fun with video games than you did in 2007.

Catch it only on Joystiq...

2007 was one hell of a year for games

What a hell of a year this has been.

I doubt 2008 will be much different from 2007- its election time which equates to more talk by the snakes (politicians) about how they will "clean the cesspool".

As much as the geezers try, they still have to defeat the First Ammendment. I just hope the UK maddness dies down.

I must say that with the way that 2007 went, 2008 probably won't be much different if not worse. The only thing I can say is that it will end exactly the same. No anti-video game pundits will succeed and we will still have our games.

Dennis, I have a question....why do you refer to yourself as GP???? Seems....impersonal, then we have the fact that Gamepolitics has 3 or 4 guys that report, not just yourself, though you DO do the most...I dunno, just bugs me.

Now to wait until November to see which idio.....candidate will win.

Pray it's not Hilary

@ Skyyth

He does so to show that it is the position of the site not just the author. If he were speaking of his own opinion, he would refer to himself and not GP.

Well, 2007 is over, time to roll on with 2008. My resolution: To get started on the book I'm going to write.
