ECA's Halpin Interviewed on iGame Radio Podcast

January 5, 2008
Omaha Sternberg  interviews Entertainment Consumers Association president Hal Halpin for the latest edition of the iGame Radio Podcast.

Hal discusses his view of the recent NIMF Annual Video Game Report Card, talks about how ECA local chapters can be formed, dishes on the politics of video games and offers his perspective on so-called "video game addiction."

It's definitely worth a listen...

As cool as this is, i have a query.

How goes the JT case?

Honestly, GP isn't all JT. We are all interested in him of course, but in totally unrelated topics, we don't need people talking about him.

What happened to the traditional ECA disclaimer that Gamepoltics is Sponsored or part of the ECA?

GP: Well, let me see... I'm a bit under the weather and a little rushed with other projects today so I guess that I forgot. And you obviously already knew the disclaimer... But I've added it anyway for consistency's sake.

@austin

II believed the judge said he'd make his decision sometime around spring so until that happens we won't know.

@father time

ah fuck. I thought that it would be over by now.

Spring?

Goddamn, he can still do a bit of damage between now and then.

@Austin Lewis

He had.. 10 years to do a lot of damage. I think he's twigged that it's over now.

Ah fuck this! I'm exhausted.

DorthLousPassed 1.5M$. And I'd also say that Brutal Legend is far from being a bad game. I just think it was a few levels under what people expected from the people working on the project.02/11/2012 - 8:25am
TechnogeekBrutal Legend wasn't bad so much as "marketing had no idea how the game actually played", causing it to suffer accordingly.02/10/2012 - 10:38pm
