The Federal Bureau of Investigation apparently has had enough of Jack Thompson.This bit of news comes from Thompson himself, by way of an e-mail that the embattled anti-game crusader shipped out yesterday. The message was cc'd to GamePolitics and dozens of others. Addressees include U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta, the chief federal prosecutor in south Florida.
The e-mail alleges - yet again - a conspiracy by the Florida Bar and Florida Supreme Court to persecute Thompson. It also claims that Thompson's personal e-mail account was hacked recently. He sees the Bar's hand in that, as well. Regarding the FBI, Thompson writes (emphasis GP's):
Despite your forwarding this matter, Mr. Acosta, to the FBI, the FBI has done nothing and refuses to talk to me.
With all respect, either the FBI takes this seriously—the computer hacking, the criminal use of lunacy proceedings, the whole nine yards... or I and others will do what we need to do.
As GamePolitics has previously reported, the Florida Supreme Court recently sanctioned Thompson by refusing to accept any filings from him. Now, it appears that the FBI has shut him out as well.
GP: Although I've never revealed it publicly, since 2005 Thompson has reported me to the Miami and Philadelphia offices of the FBI on at least five occasions, alleging all sorts of things, including violations of the Patriot Act.
Nothing ever came of these ridiculous allegations. I was never even contacted about them by the FBI. But I can tell you that being reported to the FBI is a frightening thing. It caused me a great deal of concern.
So, please forgive me if I LOL over Thompson's whining that the FBI is ignoring him.

I personally skim over most JT articles and look for relevant information (ie lawsuits that he has lost/had thrown out to public speaking points). I stopped on this one because GP is a part of my daily read and to see that a man that has taken it upon himself to claim conspiracy and make allegations against GP to the FBI and is now no longer taken serious by said group is a point I find interesting.
I also honestly find this more news worth than say a female who had a sex change and is now claiming she is a man who is pregnant (last time I checked you are still a female genetically which makes you a female that is pregnant), it also more news worthy than say the newest insult Hillary is throwing at Obama or the newest whine fest she is having over not being the lead in the popular vote.
Anyways just an opinion.

Seriously, I'll bet this is a non-issue. Remember when Jack assumed that everyone on LiveJournal was spamming him, when he had merely signed up to receive comments via email?
I'll bet his "hacking" is just stuff like spam bounces. We all get them, because return-addresses get forged. Only Jack would assumed they're caused by "crazy hackers" who have infiltrated his email account via his teeth...

There must be some pro-censorship people out there who publicly support him. The commercial free childhood wankers maybe? They seem to have their heads as far up their own collective rear as he does.

Even if he got supporters, there will be a time where things will get out of hand and even them will see Thompson as who he really is: an attention seeker that isn't worth their time nor their support. Now that his means of actions are taken off one by one, they'll soon see him as the incompetent that he is.
Interesting, I guess a few people must support JT still. One now must wonder how much longer they'll support him? Especially after disbarment.

I also noticed on the SCOFLA docket. After his bids for rehearing and oral argument were dismissed on 4/3, he tried to file things on 4/4... And the court clerk sent him a letter affirming the position he can't file any more on his own.
And I just thought of this: when he loses his license and gets arrested (which I'm sure will happen within minutes of him losing his license to practice law), he won't be able to claim insanity thanks to his friend Dr. Wunderman.

LOL, poor woman. I hope she got the help she needed. The difference between her and Jack Thompson is I feel bad for the woman, but for Jack Thompson, I just LOL.
Thompson is becoming more and more like the unruly child who seems to think that if he only screams for long enough, everyone will do things his way, and that's "all" he's asking, for everyone to do exactly what he says without question, or he'll scream some more.
Oddly enough, the FBI are using the same response that my Mother used on me 30 years ago when I threw tantrums in public places, she refused to give me the satisfaction of a response, and, in time, I learned to express my opinions like a reasonable, intelligent human being, and to accept that just because I thought I was right, didn't mean the world, or even the facts, agreed with me.

You know how disgustingly huge reality TV is these days right? Combine that with JT's inherent need to make sure he complains to anyone who'll listen about how oppressed he is, and I think maybe you've got the perfect solution.
JT Reality TV. Give him some wierd cable channel nobody watches and let him talk about how righteous he is, and what an expert he is; and how he's being oppressed -by the machine-. JT gets to satisfy his urge to broadcast himself, and would no doubt claim that it makes him an expert on everything, and when we want a cheap laugh we can watch like 20 min of it. (Mostly because I suspect most rational minds couldn't necessarily endure more then 20 min of prolonged JT exposure.) Some wierd cable access channel somewhere nobody ever uses. Maybe he can break it up with gay porn and pictures of the florida bar figuratively getting nuked just to spice things up.
It'd be like reality TV, except any guests he actually had would most likely WANT to be "chosen for elimination".

This is NOT a news website. This is Dennis' blog. He can post whatever the hell he wants on here. If he wanted to talk about donkey poo he'd have every right regardless of whether or not it is "news" because, last I checked, this is a BLOG. Blogs are not designed to report the news but to post whatever the author views as relevant. If what he views as relevant doesn't jive with what you view as relevant then oh well.
However, when you come on his blog and tell him not to talk about something that he has every right to talk about, seeing as this is HIS blog, you're doing the very thing that you're criticizing others of doing. That's right: restricting the freedom of speech.
Likewise, I mean no offense to anyone when I say this. Hitler knew how to take advantage of a situation, speak to and work a crowd, and was a fairly competent leader in respect to his strategic thinking (yes, he had some bad ideas, and thankfully that was something that helped let us beat him). JT basically lacks all these skills, he's rude, arrogant, can occasionally speak well while on TV, but anywhere else that it would matter he has a complete inability to say anything that wouldn't piss people off at him. JT has no strategy, his only tactic being based on the perceived fact that there's some grand conspiracy against him that he'll somehow magically prove exists when he needs to. JT has had situations to take advantage of and has failed to successfully take advantage of them. This is why it's somewhat unexpected that he has any followers.
They both are very evil, but one was fairly smart and socially adept while the other lacks sanity, social skills, and the brain power to do much of anything right.
Not sure what your problem is mate. I have seen you pop in now and again (classic Troll) and attack Dennis and defend JBT. News flash for you. This is Dennis's (well the GSAs) site. They have much more right to post what they what then you do to complain about it.
You do not need to agree but you really should be civil or you can expect to be slapped down. Freedom of speech runs both ways, you cannot say something offensive then take offense at replies.
You can always find some other place to post but alas that idea is not likely as much fun to you.

Lol. Love that idea. Put JBT off somewhere where he cannot hurt anyone but him (few would be interesting in intervening to save jackie from himself). The question would beg though who would pay for it? Could money be made off of putting JBT in the magic talking box?
Personally, I'd recommend posting in some other subjects instead, by complaining about the quantity of 'Thompson' stories, by posting in here, you will elicit a quantity of responses defending the blog, in generating those responses, you increase the reply count, thus increasing the popularity of the story and increasing the likelihood of Thompson stories appearing again.
I'll not state my opinion on whether I think this blog has 'too much Thompson', the man is too controversial not have an opinion about, but psychology may work better here, if you don't like, or don't care for the story, the be more prolific about other subjects, it's kind of like a Blog version of 'voting down' a story.
Just try not to make your only posts being ones that complain about the content of Thompson stories, get involved in other areas, otherwise you are falling into the same trap as the Anti-Gamers, drawing attention to something in order to criticise it, thereby increasing its visibility.
I'm not judging you for feeling as you do, just suggesting that the best way to combat it is to take a leaf out of your own book, ignore it and get involved with topics that do care about.
Didn't you noticed that complaining just for the sake of complaining IS trolling. Up until now, no one violated the policies (or else, he would've noticed us), so no, no freedom of speech in violated.
If there really were a violation of the freedom of speech don't you think you'd have been banned by now? The very fact that you have posted what you have (in the past and now too) disproves your entire point.
You have posted libelous statements so far out there that if anyone had taken you seriously and caused Dennis to be able to show he lost business because of you, you would've been able to be taken to court and sued for it. You are stepping beyond speech protected by the first amendment, have been allowed to go this far, and still you piss and moan about how repressed you are. You have repeatedly ignored the reality around you as well, this is a blog and Dennis will post whatever he feels like, NOT WHAT YOU WANT HIM TO POST WHEN YOU WANT HIM TO POST IT. That right there is the real attempt to violate someones first amendment rights, and it's coming from you, not us.

Hard to say. Proposed deadlines get pushed back due to long testamony/cross examination, arguments or just plan out fashioned detracting bullshit. Honestly I do not expect JBT to go quietly into that goodnight so yes it could be delayed for a while yet.
Unlikely the ruling has happened and there has been a delay in our hearing or it as we have people that are camping the dockets. ;)
I love the poetry reference. It's good to see that people still read literature.
She will want to be VERY careful in how she crafts her ruling to that JT doesn't win an appeal on some technical grounds. She should take all the time she feels she needs. The last thing we need is JT crowing over how she misused a word and therefore he gets to keep his license.
The man is an embarrassments to the legal profession, has violated more ethics rules than I can count, and he needs to go and go permanently so her honor should be really, really careful.

Which is just what I did the other day with the "Who is the biggest hypocrite" article. Yet, I don't see anyone acknowledging that I posted something positive - it's much easier to resort to namecalling.
