Jack Thompson Has Political Aspirations

He won't run - He's just blowing smoke.  I know it's kind of vogue to hate Jack Thompson in gamer culture right now, however, I don't think he's so completely divorced from reality that he doesn't understand what running for high office would be like.  More to the point, who would finance him?  Would you contribute to the thompson campaign?  Not fricking me. I would imagine only pretty hardcore conservative christians would touch him, and the fact that even NIMF dissaovwed him, well,  where's he gonna get the money to run?

Politics doesn't quite add up.  I tell you, I do see some activism in his future, but more like the PAC kind.  I see him forming his own or joining some sort of activist group; and working his ends that way.  That way all he has to do is find some gullible/misinformed people, and that's not terribly hard to do.

Someone get Ms. Reno on the line. She needs to see this. In fact, more than that. Get everyone who is not here that has a bone to pick with JT on the line. They need to see this.

I live in Florida and we cannot vote to save our lives. Every election, something happens that makes the votes screwey. So, I get the feeling that Jack could possibly win. But, I swear, if Jack does get elected, I am moving to New Hampshire earlier than planned. Not because I believe suddenly he'll be able to impose his morals with no resistance, but because he'll be able to try.
