BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

June 16, 2008 -

A pair of U.S. Marshals were apparently dispatched to Jack Thompson's house today.

The controversial attorney complained about the visit from the law enforcement officials in a filing with the U.S. District Court in Miami. Among the U.S. Marshals' duties are providing security for federal courthouses.

Although the purpose of the marshals' visit is not entirely clear, judging from Thompson's tone, it seems that they carried a warning of sorts. In wake of the visit, Thompson charged that he is being harassed by the Justice Department. The embattled attorney wrote to Chief Judge Federico Moreno:

I was visited today by two U.S. Marshals who were nice gentlemen, and very professional and courteous in their dealings with me.  My complaint is not with them...

I have been asking the Justice Department simply to meet with me about [the video game industry's] criminal targeting of me for harm...  Our US Attorney here has obstructed that effort... Instead of being afforded the Justice Department investigation to which I am entitled, I get today harassment from that same Justice Department...

When you and the Justice Department dispatch U.S. Marshals to my home because of a letter I wrote you last week complaining about misconduct by District Court Judges here in the Southern District, the purpose of that visit was  to intimidate and harass me...

The notion that I pose some sort of physical threat to you or to the judiciary or to anyone else down here is a cruel joke.  The two Marshals said, “If you had actually hand-delivered the letter to Judge Moreno, we would be concerned.”  To that I said, “But I did.  I did that last week because the gentlemen at the metal detectors would not deliver it, and THEY TOLD ME TO DELIVER IT TO YOU.  I buzzed into  your inner offices on the thirteenth floor, and I politely handed the letter to your clerk, who politely took it.

If I were a danger to anyone, that would have been the time for me to have proven it, right?  In fact, I have never threatened anyone in my entire life, and you know that, and the Marshals said they knew that.  They were apologetic about being dispatched to my home.  This is outrageous, Judge.  Simply outrageous.

As GamePolitics reported in April, Thompson complained that the FBI would no longer take his calls (see: JT+FBI=LOL).

UPDATE: What seems to have prompted Judge Moreno to dispatch the US Marshals was a letter written by Thompson to Moreno on Friday in which he alleged that al Qaeda suspects at Guantanamo Bay have more rights than he:

We find yesterday that enemy combatants at Guantanamo are to get more due process from federal judges than what I am to have. I guess my "mistake" was not killing 3000 people to make my point...

I demand a hearing.

Thompson's anger with the U.S. District Court apparently stems from a string of failed attempts to gain federal judicial relief in his ongoing struggle with the Florida bar. The Bar, as we've been reporting, has recommended that Thompson, 56, be disbarred for a minimum of ten years.

UPDATE 2: Thompson has written to the counsel for the House Judiciary Committee requesting a meeting in Washington to air his complaint that the Justice Department is harassing him.

UPDATE 3: Thompson has filed yet another document with the federal court, this one containing a copy of a Freedom of Information Act request which Thompson sent to the Attorney General's office. He is seeking any Justice Department records relating to him since 1992.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

I read pretty much every commet from this webpage and I can say that more than half of them have nothing to do with the subject. I don`t understand why the administrators aprove something like this. I was walking today through a jeep wranglers philadelphia shop and I have been able to read some more things from your forum and I want to say I enjoyed it a lot.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

Gallagher can araç kiralama say all he wants, but I strongly rent a car believe it's due to his crappy leadership and E3 being a joke. ESA's Board of Directors need to find a way to get out  of this horrid contract with this Bush cronie before there's no one rent a car left on the Board.

Btw, I think Atari and Midway will drop out too, but mostly travesti because  these guys have done nothing ttnet vitamin or little and need to start saving costs.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

Jack Thompson is seriously such a loser, the most pathetic part being that he's somehow managed to trick himself into believing the opposite is true.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

In about 3 years JT is going to be the guy on street corners yelling about the govt. and evil plots.

I remember reading that a guy with the last name of Thomson once contacted Jack-o for an interview.  Jack responded not only with a "no", but also went on to say that he was better than the guy because his family could afford the "p" in their last name.

Well, Jack...

It might be time to sell that "p" back, don't you think?

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

You know jack you remind me of  "Pinky and the Brain" in fact I bet your wife (who by the way has to have a heart of gold....or a large liqour cabnent to put up with you)asks you every mourning "what are you going to do today Jack" and your responce is always the "The same thing I try to do everyday  try to destroy video games and take over the world"

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

Is it just my comp, or are comments seeming to randomly disappere since GP moved to the new system?

Anyone know what's up?

Subject Box!

Since a Jacko-related post seems to be everyone's point to vent at the lawyer(?), I'd figure I'd get in line.

It truly amazes me that this man will file a suit for the slightest bit of action, though that's not to say being confronted by U.S. Marshalls is low on his list, but we've seen his motions (and threats to motion), and it makes it all the more plausible to people that he is a senile, paranoid law-abusing wacko. Let's look through this list for a moment... He motioned to question Janet Reno's sexuality, motioned to put Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins under arrest literally because they bad-mouthed him, motioned to sue the Florida Bar several times, and now, Jacko seems to be a sort of spam HUB in itself when it comes to law firms like Blank Rome (as well as Dennis himself, who seems to receive every single forward from the bloke).

Jack, even through all this, even continues to motion until he is disbarred, it seems. He fights as though theres no one on his side but God, and that everyone's out to get him, or is somehow in "cahoots" with the "video game industry". Well, it's rather funny in a way, because he can't seem to see it's him the one spouting bullshit, claiming to do so under God, while the reality remains firm: He is a lowly speck to the many "conspirators" he fights against, from Take-Two, to the Florida Bar, to the whole government in it's entirety. His behavior, treating not only gamers as some kind of criminal rapist scum, but as I've seen now, he'll treat anyone so that's against his views.

GamePolitics, I really hope after he's fully disbarred, we can stop seeing Jack motions every other Tuesday.

Why will the right-wing crusader likely lose his license? Swastikas are just the start.

By Brantley Hargrove

published: June 19, 2008

Jack Thompson looks nothing like 9/11 orchestrator Mohamed Atta. He wears a slick business suit and lives in a million-dollar home in Coral Gables. Yet the 56-year-old lawyer hand-delivered a letter to U.S. District Court Chief Judge Federico A. Moreno last week that sounded a lot like terrorism: "Maybe," he wrote, "my 'mistake' was not killing 3,000 people to make my point."

On Monday, federal marshals showed up at his home to question him about the matter. Next up for the man who has for 20 years worn the mantel of the puritanical police: disbarment.

Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Dava Tunis last month found Thompson guilty of 27 violations of the Florida Bar code of conduct. The case against this vexatious litigator is detailed in 4,100 pages of exhibits and testimony. Examples of his sins include sending members of the Florida Supreme Court gay porn and a picture book with images of (1) swastikas, (2) a kangaroo clutching an outsized gavel, (3) a kangaroo in judge's robes sitting on the bench, and (4) Ray Charles. His point was to illustrate that Florida's high jurists simply could not comprehend the ineffable complexities of his arguments.

If Tunis' findings are confirmed by the court this fall, the justices will only be confirming what hip-hop artists and gamers have known for decades: Jack don't know jack.

Thompson entered the public psyche in 1988, when he campaigned against then-Dade State Attorney Janet Reno by employing a novel strategy — he implied she was a closeted lesbian. Two years later, his profile was raised during the furor over Miami rap group 2 Live Crew, charged with staging an obscene performance at a Hollywood nightclub. He sent the lyrics of "As Nasty as They Wanna Be" to Gov. Bob Martinez and every county sheriff in the state. (Charges against 2 Live Crew were eventually forgotten.)

He also sent along legal documents attached to copies of his driver's license. Over his photo, he pasted an image of a caped crusader. "I have sent my opponents pictures of Batman to remind them I'm playing the role," Thompson told a Washington Post reporter. "Just like Bruce Wayne helped the police in the movie, I have had to assist the sheriff of Broward County."

In an unrelated matter around that time, the Florida Bar Association dropped an inquiry into Thompson's mental stability after a bar-appointed neuropsychologist pronounced him competent.

Norm Kent, a prominent gay Fort Lauderdale attorney, began feuding with Thompson two decades ago when they were on opposite sides of a case regarding radio host Neil Rogers, who spouted obscenities on the air. Kent is founder and former publisher of the Express Gay News and National Gay News and is a board member of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. His philosophy is the antithesis of Thompson's radically conservative, born-again-Christian ethos. And Thompson has in several instances attempted to have his nemesis' law license yanked. "In each of these cases, he's arguing, 'How does the [Florida] Bar allow a pot-smoking homosexual to continue to practice?' " Kent says. "Thompson has a hard time coping with the fact that a lawyer as gay as I am can be as successful as I am."

In the early 1990s, Thompson turned his ire to rap, including an attempt to stop distribution of Ice-T's song "Cop Killer." Then he moved onto his next target: Grand Theft Auto. Pixelated videogame violence inspired the murderous sprees at Columbine and Virginia Tech, he ranted in faxes and emails to the media.

The events leading to his disbarment began in 2003, when Devin Moore, a Fayette County, Alabama, teenager and compulsive Grand Theft Auto player, killed two police officers and a radio dispatcher. Two years later, in February 2005, Thompson sued the videogame's developer — Rockstar Games — and others on behalf of the families of the victims, claiming Grand Theft Auto had persuaded Moore to commit the crime.

But there were problems. Thompson filed the case in Alabama, where he was not licensed. And he employed his usual fax and email smear tactics even after a gag order was issued. In August, the defense counsel, lawyers of the prestigious Blank Rome firm in Philadelphia, asked Judge James Moore to give Thompson the boot. After the judge agreed, Thompson sent him dozens of faxes alleging that he was in bed with opposing lawyers and that the jurist's friend had fixed the case. "You're the guy who wants to give Take-Two my scalp," he wrote. "Thieves and liars... are your corporate criminal buddies, Judge Moore."

In February 2006, Moore filed a complaint about Thompson's behavior with the Florida Bar (which would later be affirmed by Tunis). The judge declined to comment for this article.

More anti-videogame screeds followed, until Michigan gamers Alyson Burch and George Ettinger tried to extend an olive branch by collecting money to send Thompson flowers. At first, the goal was only $50, but soon, international donations swelled the pot to more than a grand. Burch and Ettinger sent an expansive bouquet to Thompson and donated the rest to charity. The affair became a web sensation when Thompson flatly refused to accept the bouquet and then accused the pair of being spies for Rockstar Games, Burch said.

Still another bar complaint came later in 2006, when Thompson was trying to stop Rockstar from releasing a new game, Bully, that he decried as a "Columbine simulator." Thompson filed suit against the company and then in October tried to have Miami-Dade County Judge Ronald Friedman recused, alleging that the judge was involved in a cover-up with secrecy worthy of a star chamber.

In a letter sent to Judge Friedman and copied to the media, Thompson wrote: "Next time you promise a 'hearing,' I'll bring a parent with me whose kid is in the ground because of a kid who trained to kill him or her on a violent videogame. Try mocking that person, I dare you."

A few months later, as part of his ongoing campaign against Kent, Thompson followed links to gay porn on Kent's website and purchased membership. Then he downloaded the images and sent copies to members of the Florida Supreme Court. Soon, he was warned that if the inappropriate filings continued, sanctions would follow. But he didn't stop.

On March 20, 2008, the Florida Supreme Court, after an almost saintly history of patience with Thompson, struck back. The justices sanctioned Thompson and forbade him to submit further filings unless they were signed by a second attorney. He paid little attention to the order.

Judge Tunis collected every pleading since then and included them in her recommendation to the state Supreme Court on May 15. In her preliminary recommendations, she found that Thompson had committed a litany of violations of the Florida Bar code of conduct and recommended disbarment for ten years. The justices can lock him out of the courtroom longer if they choose.

Here are just a few of the violations detailed in Tunis' preliminary report:

• Making false statements to a tribunal.

• Presenting, participating in presenting, or threatening to present disciplinary charges under these rules solely to obtain an advantage in a civil matter.

• Communicating the merits of the cause with a judge before whom the proceeding is pending.

• Making extrajudicial statements.

• Using means that have no purpose other than to embarrass, delay, or burden a third person.

• Engaging in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, deceit, or misrepresentation.

Jason Della Roca, executive director of the International Game Developers Association, won't take a position on Thompson's disbarment. But he believes Thompson is really just distracting society from the real problems. And he insists the lawyer's arguments about videogames as "murder simulators" are absurd. "Dude, I'm pushing a space bar and handling a mouse," he says. "How far removed from a firearm can I be?"

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

"Baseless Bar complaints to punish me for my success in securing FCC fines and appearing on CBS' 60 Minutes to blow the whistle on these RNC cash bundler's illegal activities."

So many things wrong with this statement.

First off, the "baseless" part. I don't think that 31 Bar complaints could possibly be baseless, and considering they were filed to the Bar, not by the Bar, I don't see how they're conspiring against him.

Then there's the "success" part. I mean, come on, he has had no success against the industry. Ever.

And finally, there he is again, plugging one of his many appearences on TV into an official document.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

Quick question, sorry for my ignorance

When Judge Tunis recommended disbarrment, i thought that was it, he was out. But thats not the case is it?

What happens now? Who makes the final decision to disbar him, and when does that happen?

Also, could wacko jacko prevent them from disbarring him at this late stage?

Yaknow, the fact that Fox actually treats him like a sane human being with logical and worthy thought is enough to make me stop watching.

Well that and the whole Obama "terrorist fist jab" comment. But I digress.

I'm sure once Jackieboy is disbarred Fox will bring him on, suit in tatters, hair askew, eyes red and maniacal, and they'll say this is what happens when Democrats are in Congress.

We have to take a stand for the insane lawyers who tear our Constitution to shreds! I'm sure O'Reilly will be right there with him calling it a travesty.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

Maybe they visited him because of how he said he would turn the florida bar into a bombed out building(figuratively of course). That, combined with his new veiled threat of killing 3000 people might have been what sent the marshals to his place.

Does anyone else find it sickening how JT thinks that he in any way compares with prisoners at gitmo? Also, he just had a hearing. A hearing that was too fucking long. The psycho needs to be disbarred and disgraced out of the spotlight, NOW.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

I'm simply surprised that he wasn't carted off to jail for his "suggestion" that he should kill 3000 people.  As it is, JT has called down local, state, and federal forces to arrest folks that have made OBVIOUS joke or parody references to him and any sort of physical harm whatsoever... even if the people responsible were from Canada or Europe.

His letter was in WRITING, TO the judge, signed, and served electronically.

Now why does JT get preferential treatment?  Only a warning?  Jack, consider yourself lucky you're not already in jail, which is where you're going to be headed if you don't start watching your mouth.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

I said it once, and I'll say it again. Jack forgot that J. Edgar Hoover isn't in charge. Seriously, he really got too far this time.

But, whenever Jack Thompson says he's gonna do a "big" move, it's time to take out the popcorn and watch the show.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

Dont know mate.  jackies rethoric is old and growing more whimsical by the moment (ie would not pass for 3rd gradeschool theater).  Reduced  to(or never had much more than) Dust and mirrors.   Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Um news flash the guy behind the curtain is not very interesting.

Actually in hindsight his arguements were old and hardly worth merit back in the days of LiveJournal and have defiantly gone downhill since then.  Let him threaten who he will.  All those things, companies and people he swore would be torn down still stand and all he has done has proven himself the fool.

Pity is all he deserves, now if only he had a bit of sense left to crawl off the radar.  But no that is not jackie.  He seems to need and lives for the attention like a spoiled child in the forementioned 3rd grade.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

Sorry for the double post but didn't JT threaten to shoot people in the name of God before. I could be wrong but can anyone correct me at all!

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

As crazy as Jack is, I seriously doubt this is true.  Before throwing wild accusations around (and this one IS potentially slanderous), you should find some actual proof of the truth before posting.  Even if you did post it in the form of a query, there's more than enough information on his Wikipedia article to avoid this type of comment.

(Whereas we DO know he was indeed hit with a restraining order for allegedly trying to run someone off the road after stalking them.  That one is confirmed.)

Update #3

Jack,

Your letter for the FOIA request is not a proper FOIA request.  I'm sure you know that already, being an Attorney and I'm not, and all, but I just thought it fair to point it out to you.  Additionally, it's so fun when you add all the little lies, like all those people distributing porn to minors when you meant to say "the attorneys who defended Take Two, Rockstar and Howard Stern from my baseless claims."  Aren't these egregious slanders why you're about to lose your law license?  (Don't answer that.  It's a rhetorical question.)

Also, I love how you leave out the little details, like your analogy of needing to murder 3000 people to get noticed from your initial letter to Judge Moreno.  You don't think that comment, or the veiled (figurative) threat you made to the SCOFLA had absolutely nothing to do with having a file opened up on you at the Justice Department?  Or the fact that you stalked someone and allegedly tried to run them off the road at one point?

Jack, seriously, get help. Your paranoia is stealing the stage from your narcissism.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

I wonder if Jack-o has ever heard of Occum's Razor. "When all things are equal, the simplest answer is the correct one."

So, on one hand we have a massive conspiracy to discredit Jack Thompson that involves all levels of goverment, private individuals, corporations, minority groups, privately owned websites, anyone who fact checks him, the media, federal law enforcement, the FBI, other lawyers, the Florida Bar and judges.

On the other hand we have that Jack Thompson is a delusional egomaniac with a martyr complex.

Simplest answer anyone? Anyone?

Oooh oooh, I think I know this one. Could it possibly be that Jack Thompson is delusional and there is no conspiracy against him?

Would that perhaps be the right answer?

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

hey hey now! Just because he is a delusional paranoid psychotic is no reason to assume that vast hordes of people, including those in power in all three branches of government, law enforcement and the courts are not at this point out to get him.

Actually it is a rather impressive feat to generate that level of bipartisan hatred, scorn and disgust. Normally one needs to do something truly heinous, such as diddling the congressional pages and dumping the bodies in the potomac to get the level of action against you that Jack has managed to garner with just his mouth, his antics in the legal realm, and his burning insanity

Ya know, I am almost out of good books to read right now, I could actually go for a good Machiavellian Conspiracy book right about now. Or really anything Illuminati style, doesn't matter if it's the Illuminati or some other group, just so long as they guide the world from the shadows. Just so long as it's not written by a crazy that actually believes in such things, just someone who thinks they make an interesting setting for a fictional book.

So Jacky Boy can make threats and claim "I meant no serious harm..."

I am starting to beleive that jackie might be the smarter than he appears (not likely of course).  I mean if he were as stupid as he appears right now I doubt he could dress himself, and certainly would not be allowed into polite society without a keeper.

No only a person that is sure of themselves (to the point of arrogant) could twist reality and alter truths to fit.  Reality?  His reality is there is a conspiracy.  Being that it is his world (inside his head) then we are all guilty of having part in it.  (happy dance I am helping to torment jackie in his version of reality)

He has never threatened anyone?  Hmm check wikiquotes after about a 1/4 of the way down from the top (whoever editted the top posts were not doing anyone any favors,  but I digree).  He has threated amoung other things to :  Enter and remove our game systems, was going to smite T2 in the name of his god, close down this site, the gods alone know what he has threatened Dennis with and suggested that people go to hell quicker which sounds like a threat with the intent to kill.  .

Bah it is useless though.  There are facts and there are truths... and then there is jackieworld.   Ah well at least he has not attempted to claim that he has never insulted anyone.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

I'm sure Jack is an intelligent man. It's just that his Narcissistic Personality Disorder and growing paranoia get in the way. Also his obsessiveness isn't helping. Plus he's farily lazy about procedures and research.

If he wanted to, I'm sure he could take the time to back up his claims in a more normal way, as other lawyers do, citing precedent -- not that there's anything that could really back him up, but he could try to make the connection. Instead, he knows that he's always right and can do no wrong, so everything he says is self-evident and needs no support. And that's where he gets in trouble. He doesn't even take the time to look back at the First or Eighth Ammendments to see what they really say. He has a vague recollection and that's good enough for him and all those futilely arrayed against him

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

Um, Jack?  I mean, I know you're Jack Thompson, Attorney, and I'd hate to second-guess an attorney, especially one that graduated with Al Gore from prestigious Vanderbilt School of Law, but, y'know, my legal education (at some nothing state school out in crazy California, to be sure) and private practice experience tells me that that's not a proper FOIA request.  Nothing against you, and mad props for fighting the Man, but you might want to double check how to, y'know, prepare and file legal documents.  I hear that's what we attorneys do all day.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

On the DOJ's own website, it lists that Courts are exempt from FOIA filings.  A lawyer should know that, shouldn't he?  I'm just saying....

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

This is, alas, where Thompson frequently slips up, he mistakes 'Court Filing' for 'Press Release' on a regular basis.

This has actually cost him cases.

Re: BREAKING: U.S. Marshals Pay Jack Thompson "a Visit"

And by 'alas', I mean that in a pitying way, not a supportive one. The man really doesn't cut a very impressive figure, and he seems to be mostly self-destructive these days.

It's scary.

This is actually a very chilling thing to see. I have never seen someone go crazy before, and it's not  pretty process. In Jack's mind the "conspiracy" is just getting ever deeper and more convoluted, and the most bizarre thing is he is believing every bit of it. I think a normal person would take the appearance of the US Marshals at their door as a sign that maybe they had gone too far. Not Jack though, it's just more proof and fuel for his paranoid delusions.

I wonder how his narcissistic ego is going to take the news that any information held on him by the Justice department is filed under "N" for "Nuisance" and that they regard him as little more than the irritating boy who cries wolf again and again. Or perhaps the news that instead of the great threat to the "pornographers" and "goose-stepping brigades" he believes himself to be, they actually see him as an unstable individual and the only attention he deserves is watching to ensure he does not harm himself or others.

The best part in the whole thing was this short little sentence: "This is irony." Jack is giving a little lesson on irony, when it seems that he cannot recognise it in his own words anywhere else. Complaining about his first amendment rights when his entire "crusade" is centered around depriving others of theirs. Complaining about being "threatened", when almost every single post and letter he sends contains threats, veiled or otherwise. Insulting people on the basis that he is an attorney and they are not, when he has shown himself to be a most incompetent one.

I just feel sorry for his family. How must it feel to have your father/spouse dig himself into a hole resulting in his disbarment due to his insulting, dishonest and threatening behaviour? To have him make himself an figure of ridicule on the internet and within his professional body? To be used by him as excuses/reasons for his little vendetta? And then, most embarrasing of all, for the need to have law enforcement officials come to your house to tell him not to behave that way.

Re: It's scary.

The thing is, if you break down the logic, from start to finish, of how this alleged conspiracy started, formed and continues to operate, you get a web of foolishness more convoluted and impossible than what the 9/11 "Truthers" are preaching on the street corners and from their Cheetos-stained computer keyboards.

On top of that, let's say that Jack's Freedom of Information Act "request" yields the documents he wants (all information on him in possession of the Justice Dept. since 1992), and they DON'T include proof of a wide range conspiracy, then the top muckity mucks at the Justice Dept. just become PART of the conspiracy.  BRILLIANT!  Nobody can tell just how far up this goes!  Everybody is Out To Get Jack Thompson!

"How must it feel to have your father/spouse dig himself into a hole resulting in his disbarment due to his insulting, dishonest and threatening behaviour?"

I have to genuinely wonder how he treats his family. I say this because my fiancee's parents tends to belittle her and her sister because neither seem to be 'good enough', most of this is related to the parent's own self-esteem issues. With that said, considering the raging ego and the paranoia we've seen from Jack-o it makes me wonder: "What kinda of crap does he put his own family through on a daily basis?"

MaskedPixelanteNumber 3: Night Dive was brought to the attention of the public by a massive game recovery, and yet most of their released catalogue consists of games that other people did the hard work of getting re-released.04/17/2014 - 8:46pm

MaskedPixelanteAnother round of Night Dive teasing and promising turns out to be stupid edutainment games. Thanks for wasting all our time, guys. See you never.04/17/2014 - 3:44pm
Matthew WilsonAgain the consequences were not only foreseeable, but very likely. anyone who understood supply demand curvs knew that was going to happen. SF has been a econ/trade hub for the last hundred years.04/17/2014 - 2:45pm

NeenekoAh yes, because by building something nice they were just asking for people to come push them out. Consequences are protested all the time when other people are implementing them.04/17/2014 - 2:06pm
Matthew Wilsonok than they should not protest when the consequences of that choice occur.04/17/2014 - 1:06pm
NeenekoIf people want tall buildings, plenty of other cities with them. Part of freedom and markets is communities deciding what they do and do not want built in their collective space.04/17/2014 - 12:55pm
