In this Associated Press photo by Maya Alleruzzo, U.S. Army Capt. Charles Ford plays an unknown video game with Wa'ad, a seven-year-old Iraqi boy who lost an arm and leg to an IED near Muqdadiyah, about 60 miles north of Baghdad. From the AP report:
Soldiers from Hammer Company, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment are arranging for the child to be fitted with prosthetic limbs.

Who is the genius that wrote this article? If you don't know Mario at the drop of a hat, you shouldn't have anything to do with the game industry... Don't sadden me like that.

Nah, That a pretty iconic Mario level. And it looks like they aren't even gonna use the warp tubes.

Yeah, I recognise that Mario level from anywhere. If I recall correctly, it should be World 1, Level 2. The same world with the Minus World Glitch.

No, I noticed it right away too... At first I thought their playing an ancient console game was why it was sad, then I noticed the kid was missing a couple of limbs. =\
