Stratego Special Edition Pits Democrats vs. Republicans - Win One!

Stratego Special Edition Pits Democrats vs. Republicans - Win One!

August 28, 2008

Okay, so we've got a soft spot for board games as well as the video variety.

Maybe you do, too.

If so, jump over to Campaign.com. The self-described nonpartisan voter education site is giving away a Stratego: Democrats vs. Republicans game every day between now and the presidential election on November 4th.

I hate political games.

Re: Stratego Special Edition Pits Democrats vs. Republicans -

So, do I get to blow up John McCain with the bomb? /joke

Sounds cool.  Ilove this game. Don't mind the new theme.

Re: Stratego Special Edition Pits Democrats vs. Republicans -

Looks like a rip off of Guess Who. :P

Re: Stratego Special Edition Pits Democrats vs. Republicans -

THe original Stratego was around long before Guess Who as my dad used to play that game as a kid and he be in his 50's.  xD

Re: Stratego Special Edition Pits Democrats vs. Republicans -

Hey, I thought it was like Guess Who also. But only at first glance, because of the similarity with the pieces that have faces on them. Stratego is a cool game.

Re: Stratego Special Edition Pits Democrats vs. Republicans -

Oh heck no man.  This game is actually pretty good.  It is kind of like chess but military based characters.  (The one I have hid away somewhere is kind of based around civil war positions/outfits.)

So who is the spy in this game?

Re: Stratego Special Edition Pits Democrats vs. Republicans -

ok, jumped the gun, didnt see the post already made...  40 minutes ago...  Either way, it is a good game.

Re: Stratego Special Edition Pits Democrats vs. Republicans -

So who is the spy in this game

Probably the political mud slinger.

Re: Stratego Special Edition Pits Democrats vs. Republicans -

But wouldn't that be all of them then?

Re: Stratego Special Edition Pits Democrats vs. Republicans -

Heh... no, Stratego is more like a chess game, except that all your pieces look the same from your opponent's point of view, and higher ranked pieces take out lower ranked, with a few exceptions.  Decent strategy game, as long as someone hasn't found a way to mark them so they know what they are from the back...

i cant actually find the place to sign up for the sweestakes, as the rules say you need to enter your phone number, and the register screen has no such thing.
