I hope the cartoonist realised what he was doing in the cartoon as the 2 adults are talking about younger and younger people commiting crimes, yet has a smaller person reading the mag with "kill!" on the back, and one going apeshit in the game store, but has no parents with the children (or unless I'm mistaken dwarves) so he's having a go at irony, not only pointing out ther violence of the media but also showing that parents don't give a shit about what their spawn are doing with said violent media untill they get into trouble with the police/FBI/CIA/Mossad/MI5/MI6/Al Quada etc. At which point they seek to blame whoever they can to try and get the subject off their neglect or bad parenting.
Parents need to remember that video games do not cover the subject of pregnancy or STDs. They also need to take into account that the whole point of parenting is to guide a child through its development so it can be a functional human being, if they used a nanny instead of an xbox to "take care" of their spawn then they sure as hell wouldn't get a crack whore to do it would they?

I don't think it's necessarly that they're too 'lazy' to take the blame, more that they have an outstanding fear that they might be considered bad parents for trusting tv and video games to raise their children rather than stepping in and being parents themselves.
It seems more like they're too lazy to take the responsibility of watching what their kids are watching/playing and deciding whether or not it's appropriate.

Actually it's more ironic then anything. In today's world things do look worse but alot of it has to do of how much more aware we've become of things going on around us. Even 50 years ago, people could not always be aware of everything that was going on because not every incident was reported national and there wasn't an internet to provide instantantious sources for news.
Are things really worse, maybe? But was the past any cleaner? Not really, we just didn't know about what was all going on.

Jeez, maybe video games ARE responsible for violence. I mean, they've got a JT lookalike blowing away an employee at a game store. All of the other examples are limited to their respective forms of media. A guy is getting murdered in the game store and those two assholes walking down the street can't even be bothered to call the police!

L O L at Jack's so called "statistics". I wouldn't expect someone like him to have a more nuanced opinion on the matter that goes beyond simply "games=lots of violence". But then again, he's a man who's found a niche in the legal field, and that niche is to chase ambulances like a dog frothing at the mouth. A man like him needs a niche like that, as he wouldn't be able to make it as a legitimate lawyer. And judging from the fact that he might be disbarred soon, it looks like he can't even make it as a whack job ambulance chasing lawyer anymore.

Of course, the religious groups tried to cover up their strict religious teachings and abuse of the kid over decades by claiming it was a shooting over Anti-Chrisitian beliefs.

I don't think this post is from him, he does usually post definitives that would/wouldn't happen at a specific time. He prefers the whole "cloak and dagger" aspect of "I'm in talks with someone very high up and something will be done about the situation very shortly" (not an actual quote, just an example of the enigmatic standard posts).
