Re: Contest Deadline Reminder: ECA T-shirt Designs Due by Sept.

Is this acceptable to put on the shirt?

"ECA: Robbing Jack Thompson of his Freedom of Speech Since 2005"

Re: Contest Deadline Reminder: ECA T-shirt Designs Due by Sept.

That is absolutely not true, sir!

The ECA hasn't been around that long...

D'oh! :)

I'd rather not reward Jack Thompson.  He has not done one good thing for anybody in over 20 years.

Re: Contest Deadline Reminder: ECA T-shirt Designs Due by Sept.

Here are a few shirt slogans I thought up, some better than others.  Use them if you like.  Change the wording, add art...whatever you feel makes a good shirt.

If killers were born of violent video game play,

You’d be dead before you finished reading this…

If violent video games harm children,

How come no one’s writing laws that make facilitating such play a form of child abuse?

Age recommendation on the front, content descriptors on the back.

What?  Too much for you to remember?

Don’t want your children playing M-rated games?  Don’t let them!

…or do you really need the gov’t to do your job for you?

It’s okay to suck at video games,

It’s not okay to suck at parenting.

To determine the appropriateness of a video game for your child, use:

ESRB ratings

Parental controls

The Internet

You’re damn head

-Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo-

If you’re serious about providing entertainment to gamers of ALL ages,

Why won’t you allow AO games on your consoles?

I’ll decide which games are appropriate for my kids.

Warning!  Player of Violent Video Games

Studies show I may blast you with a loud noise.

Video game violence has not desensitized me to REAL violence.

Kill someone in front of me and I’ll run screaming.

This one's got my vote:

It’s okay to suck at video games,

It’s not okay to suck at parenting.

Second to last is the best, hands down.

I seriously think we need to fight for this.

You could always try pushing the Print Screen key on your keyboard and pasting that into your graphic editor of choice.
