The Sims 3 Shows Off with Sarah Palin vids

The Sims 3 Shows Off with Sarah Palin vids

November 2, 2008

Maxis is serving up a preview of The Sims 3 engine with a pair of videos featuring a Sim Sarah Palin.

In the trailer embedded here on GP, the Republican VP candidate dances (in camouflage lingerie) at a rally. In a second video Palin tussles with her opposite number, Democrat Joe Biden.

John McCain and Barack Obama also appear. We enjoyed this little notation at the end of the trailers:

No candidates were injured during the making of this video.

Ha!! Brilliant!

Re: The Sims 3 Shows Off with Sarah Palin vids

Good stuff. I love Obama falling off his seat in shock and awe.

Dude watch it again, Obama falls off a treadmill.

Insanity has its toll. Please have exact change.

Too bad on the, no candidates were injured...  I was hoping something happened where we would be required to have a relection.

EA supports the republican party though, one of the extremely few game companies that supports the republican party by the way.

I thought this would be corny, but it was funny.

That was pretty funny.  That's the first time I've heard a Sim-speak rap.

Valdearg: @Gelly: Again, until your church supports Gay Rights 100%, you are opposed to gay rights.

Andrew Eisen: And when all is said and done, the opposition to the hate crime law is going to lose.
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:56am
gellymatos: to us as a whole. One church may get active due to local happenings, but we have bigger concerns faith wise.
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:55am
gellymatos: On a side note, the denominations that as a whole that oppose gay rights in general aren't catholic. It isn't as big a deal...
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:53am
gellymatos: ... we oppose the hate. I have opposed it. I have seen others of my faith oppose it. It's what we're supposed to do.
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:52am
gellymatos: persecution or catholics opposing gay marriage? Look, I personally know from my experience and what I was taught and read that..
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:50am
gellymatos: Two reasons: 1. We don't brag about it or really spread around that we do. 2. What makes better news? Catholics opposing gay...
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:49am
Valdearg: @Gelly: If the church really disapproved of the discriminatory behavior, how come I've never heard a catholic leader speak out against Christian criticism of the hate crimes legislation or the non-discrimination act?
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:47am
gellymatos: And if you're going to attack our leaders, name them.
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:46am
gellymatos: other two, respectively.
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:46am
Andrew Eisen: But still, the Catholic Church (according to Gelly, I've no idea) does not support violence against anyone. An important distinction.
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:45am
gellymatos: Gay marriage was the only accurate belief of ours you mentioned. We are against it or don't really have a position on the...
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:45am
Valdearg: In fact, the leaders of the Catholic church will often encourage discriminatory behavior, despite the fact that you say that's not what the church teaches.
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:44am
Valdearg: Because, lets be honest. Despite the fact that you attribute most of the Catholic Offenses towards homosexuals to people misunderstanding the church's stance on homosexuality, the Church itself RARELY condemns those opposing gay equality.
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:43am
Valdearg: And I mean also making sure that their followers understand that its OK to be gay, and that they all deserve the same rights as everyone else. Until that happens, they will always be on the wrong side of the issue and will always be an enemy.
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:40am
Valdearg: Here's the thing, though. Until the Catholic Church expresses clear and unambiguous support for absolutely EVERY form of Gay Equality, including Marriage Equality, Employment Non-Discrimination, and military service, they are not for equality.
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:38am
gellymatos: ...position in this issue. No major side really likes us.
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:37am
gellymatos: Never said we were on your side. We just aren't for hate or persecution against gays either. We aren't really in the best...
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:37am
Valdearg: Now, if the Pope came out and said: "Hey, guys.. Cut it out, and let the gays marry" I'll first have to check to make sure I'm not dead, but after that, I might reassess the situation.
Posted 02/09/10 at 11:35am
Valdearg: I mean, I can appreciate the fact that the majority of you guys don't want all gays to die, but don't try to convince me you are on our side. The Catholic church is squarely on the side of Marriage Discrimination, not Equality.
