When FOX comes calling, the only question is whether the guest(s) will be dumber than the hosts.  That guy's commentary was as bad as his hairpiece.  How do you come to the blanket conclusion that today's youth are no good at conversation?  Even worse, assuming that we're all socially isolated in our basements?  I guess he hadn't heard how the internet has this cool little feature where you can communicate with other human beings.

With people like her telling parents that videogames are dangerous because of them being addictive like drugs and alcohol, and generalizing that all gamers are addicted?

No wonder why many of us have trouble trying to talk to people in real life, it is because people like this are slandering videogames for so long it has become public perception.

If they wonder why videogamers like us perfer to play videogames instead of social communication outside the house, they first have to look at the real problems that they are causing in the first place by labeling us gamers in a negative image....

I have already talked to a fair few people in my life about videogames, and there are some, but not all, who already have their opinions formed from what they hear from the news and sadly never had the time or even the care to do their own research to see if they might be wrong about their opinions.

And they think that we are the problem.

I can understand the confusion since every anti-videogame speech by these "experts" are completely interchangable. They're all the same outrageous accusations backed up the the same flimsy studies.

And I'm willing to bet that she really hasn't learned her lesson. After all she got her 5 min of fame.

I hate how anyone who graduates university or even high school is a "scientist" or "expert" nowadays. She's a fucking radio thug who does no research at all, what the hell?

I'm in med school and even after I graduate, it doesn't make me a fucking scientist.

I love my hobby as much as the next guy, and I jump to defend it when needed, but Cooper didn't say anything unreasonable in this video.  If you're kid is playing 15 hours a day, that's a problem.  I had periods in my life where I played 15 hours a day, and my life suffered because of it.  Granted I had hella good time, but my grades showed.  And my wife will be the first to tell you my social skills suffered as well, lol.

Yeah, I didn't catch that that idiot was naming things that signs that it is an affect and not a cause, as signs they are addicted to video games, instead of the fact that they have other problems.
