Forget Madden's Super Bowl Pick - Who Does Electric Football Like?

On the one hand, you've got Madden 2009 with its highfalutin player ratings, realistic NFL playbooks and updated team stats. As we have mentioned elsewhere, Madden makes like a ouija board and guesses that the Steelers will win today's big game.

But here at GamePolitics, we'd like something a little more dependable before we risk the kids' college funds.

Little plastic football players who spin in circles on a vibrating metal platform seem like just the thing to give us more confidence in our wager.

Yes, we're talking electric football here. But where are the Super Bowl predictions from the cult-like world of the old school game?

Electric football die-hards have their own Super Bowl, but we need them to predict the outcome of the real one. Hopefully, before kickoff...

Not everyone cares for the super bowl. Plus today is Sunday. Aren't Sundays a day off ANYWAY?

Watch a different channel or turn the tv off. If that's too simple, complain about people making a big deal about things they enjoy.

I've been asking myself that since I discovered I hated football.

I don't hate it for the mere fact it exists, I hate that it's given such importance, like a certain team winning would end world hunger or our economic crisis or something

I point this out because, Zippy, electric football has no DRM, see? It's like a DRM alternative for football fans...

Also, the GoW DRM has been well-covered elsewhere. We've covered a lot of DRM problems, just haven't been able to get to that one yet.

Bah its just sad to see a site fall behind, the points made for the more politicized fluff story's and dev closings have been made but I refuse to stop complaining about bad articles like this and others.(which basically means if tis not game retaled or political I will complain about it if a big game story is missed, the more you miss the big game related story's the more it feels the site is becoming a little to pro dev/eca, its sjut starting to feel like the site is under new onwership and thats not a good thing...)

oh and complaining how much sports suck/who cares(in the other article) is on topic and not spam.

You've got time to write something as rubbish as this story, but not the 'well-covered' GOW issue. Which do you think gamers are more likely to care about? Electric football (whatever the hell that is) or DRM on a computer game, an issue they care about so much everywhere else has decided to run a story about it instead of the Electric Football Superbowl.

Electric football is more or less Warhammer 40k for football nerds. Uses a vibratign table to make the pieces move.
