For those of you into comic books, longtime GamePolitics reader Brett Schenker has created the fan blog Graphic Policy.
The site's slogan sounds familiar, but we can't quite place it: Where Comic Books and Politics Meet...
Brett, a political consultant, does some work for the Entertainment Consumers Association.
FULL DISCLOSURE DEPT: The ECA is the parent company of GamePolitics.

Re: Politics and Comic Books Collide at Graphic Policy Blog
Thanks Dennis for the plug. Really the site was created so I could get back into writing, which I haven't done in a long time, especially a blog.
The lack of comments are due to lack of people leaving comments. I only block the spam, I think there's some interesting one's from a piece on Wal-mart a while back.
But, again for checking the site out.

Re: Politics and Comic Books Collide at Graphic Policy Blog
Not too sure of Gp's reason, but I personally see a lot of parallells between the comics medium and what is happening to games. The moral panic that ensued over comics resulted in the comics code- which ruined the medium and relegated it to kids/teen level superhero stories watered down to the point of being nonsense. American comics are still recovering from this.
Videogames are facing many of the same battles today comics faced decades ago. The Comics Industry caved to the moral panic. The games industry might do the same if more people don't grow some balls...
Re: Politics and Comic Books Collide at Graphic Policy Blog
yay, and he moderates all his comments before they're posted! That's awesome, cause comic book fans are always in agrement, and always see the other side of things.
and i'm sure he's gonna spend hours every day reading all the comments from all the blog posts ever made, too. so commenting on old posts wont become useless.
Re: Politics and Comic Books Collide at Graphic Policy Blog
Moderation is off (I hope), never really meant it to be monitored in the first place. Every blog I work with I'm the advocate for no moderation. And, actually, I do read all the comments. Since those can be counted on one hand, it's been pretty easy.

LOL, and as i look back, he's got 0 approved comments on every article EVER posted.
Better than that, back in january he had an article titled
Now Is The Time To Support Free Speech!
Epic Win!
Re: Politics and Comic Books Collide at Graphic Policy Blog
Wouldn't just be better to combine all three media forms (TV/Movies, Books and Video Games), and save ourselves the slow news day?
