All-Party Groups can be a highly effective vehicle to raise and discuss issues amongst interested Parliamentarians. I congratulate [U.K. game developers associartion] Tiga for showing leadership in instigating the creation of Westminster’s first All Party Parliamentary Group for the Computer and Video Games Industry, and for providing its secretariat. The entire All Party Parliamentary Group is looking forward to working with Tiga in discussing issues crucial to the video games industry.

Re: British Parliament Forms Video Game Study Group

i think i can confirm your fear that this is going to be a problem for video games in general, especially violent ones, is that the laboUr party is run by people afraid brave new world that is reality these days. i.e.: this world feeds off violence in the new world, and conservatives want the '50's style of wholesome entertainment.

man it breaks my heart that i am a republican sometimes, (and this is going to get taken out of context by Bill O'Reilly or Glenn Beck), this world is not yet brave enough to face the violence of this world, imo, we don't have the same princeables as we did back in the day, but this is reality and people like JT (the "second") and others like him don't realize that we are coming out of our shells and norms in life. this is how it is. (i need red bull now)

Jesus Jack Jones Thompson loves you, so kill for his amusement so we can get money for the new "People's Temple of Jesus Jack Jones Thompson"

Re: British Parliament Forms Video Game Study Group

Even back in the day we didn't have the principles you're talking about.  The fact that people wrote down documents like the Constitution that espoused high principles means that we DIDN'T have those principles back then either.  If you think people actually lived by higher principles and values 'back in the day' then you're living in a fantasy that's just as unrealistic as anyone else's.

Flamespeak: I still think military personell, killing other military personell, on a military complex should be handled by military courts.

Flamespeak: I think this was mainly a person who snapped, but evidence is showing he definitely had strong inlinations to islamic-extremism.
