This is somewhat good news I hope to get into video game design as a writer if film doesn't work out for Me.
Good luck man. I'm currently doing a Video Games Development course in Carlow IT. It's not bad, but it is a lot of work. I'd say those are good aspirations, and the two are not exclusive, but rather mutual.
Video games are trying to capture that cinematic Hollywood feel. As a Game Designer, for whatever field you wish to go into that, would be pretty good or even film writer.
If you get film writer then don't despair, as there is a very good chance that if you're good enough you'll work in games as well for your career in the future. It's just a different path in meeting the same goal.
Good luck to you Skillz817
"God, is that you?"
"No! It's a me, Mario!"
I'm very interested in joining the video game industry as well, but I'm not really sure where to start. I enjoy math and some basic creative math and I am interested in the engineering area, but I'm still not sure.
Nice. I'm jealous we didn't have dev scholarships when I graduated.
