A 30-year old man suspected of stealing an SUV was arrested by police in his home while playing Grand Theft Auto III.
Tampa Bay Online has the story on Michael Ray Ekes of Haines City, Florida, who was busted after the stolen vehicle was found in front of his home. For some reason Ekes was asked what he thought of GTA III. The suspect replied, “It’s a blast.”
Sheriff Grady Judd offered the pearl of wisdom that, “Crime is not a game.” He continued, “Real-life crime has real-life consequences – and I hope he goes to prison for a good long while, where they don't have 'Grand Theft Auto' video games.”
At the time of his arrest, Ekes was free on bail on two counts of grand theft auto and was on probation for a series of other offenses.

Pretty damn good really. Dare I say it in cases better than GTA4. Not to mention it utilizes the Havok physics engine, so soem crazy stuff can happen. And it's fun to tear up fire hydrants and payphones nad throw them at people.

I just found saints row 2 more intuitive than gta4 and the learning curve is a little less punishing it also plays better when your on foot.

I've never had an interest in Saint's row. It's just always come off as a low(er) brow version of Grand Theft Auto.
That does remind me of an amusing thing I saw at a Gamestop. A woman was trying to buy a game for someone she was talking to over a cellphone. So she was just calling out box titles. Upon coming across Crackdown she looks at the back and says "I dunno, it jus' looks like Saint's Row for queers".

Is real carjacking as easy as it is in GTA? Can I just open a car door (never locked) and put my hand on the driver's shoulder, causing them to quickly exit the car and stand there and yell at me without moving their lips? I need a new car...

You can tell the guy's a moron. 1. There are no SUVs in GTA 3. 2. It's so easy to jack a car since everybody in Liberty City keeps theirs unlocked, and the alarms don't get the attention of the cops.

So Jack still hasn't learned how to go about that whole proof of causality thing. Just because someone who steals cars happened to play a game called Grand Theft Auto does not mean that those two actions are connected in any way.
Do you have any evidence that the person stole the cars because Grand Theft Auto made them? No? I thought not. If you were better with this whole proof end evidence thing you wouldn't be unemployed.
