A former Canadian politician might have to do some creative dancing around following a probe into improper spending.
Former cabinet minister Len Goucher’s spending habits between 2006 and 2009, when he was Minister of Immigration, have come under scrutiny following a Nova Scotia probe into government expenditures. It’s claimed that Goucher spent $9,238 on electronic technology during the three-year span, including the purchase of a copy of Dance Dance Revolution Universe for the Xbox 360, reports the Canadian Press.
The inquiry has already resulted in the resignation of Nova Scotia House of Assembly member Richard Hurlburt, who reportedly used around $11,000 of public funds to purchase a generator and television.

Why the pic from Grandma's Boy?

I live in Edmonton, Canada.
After seeing how lazy and corrupt our provincial MLA's are, no surprise that this would happen! Hopefully he gets some prison time...which will include a different spin on DDR (if you miss a step, consequences by an inmate named Bubba will commence).
At least we don't have a Michael Atkinson wannabe yet.
Re: Canadian Spending Scandal Includes Pol’s Videogame ...
Be thankful that you don't have an M. Atkinson or a J. Thompson in politics, because with me living in Australia I don't want to move to Canada in the future only to find out that it is back to Australia's standards of politics.
At least there are some politicians in Canada who understand videogames more, but it makes our hobby sound bad if they are spending public money on Videogames when the rest of us gamers have to spend our hard earned cash on our hobby.

Oh I agree wholeheartedly.

It's good to know that hard working people are paying taxes for DDR. Warms my heart. ;)

I'm sure someone will look for some way to make videogames sound bad because of this...
I LOLed at the header image, though.
