If you were one of the many players who rushed out to buy the Crackdown 2 Toy Box DLC on Wednesday, you may have noticed some serious technical issues within the game that made it an unplayable mess. According to Kotaku, some who bought the paid part of the Toy Box DLC encountered freezes when the contents tried to load in the game. Luckily this is only related to the paid premium part of that package, and not the free stuff that was also released – though if you have both you may still encounter the problem.
Players have commented on Major Nelson's blog and elsewhere about these issues, so hopefully Microsoft and Ruffian Games are working on a fix.
According to Microsoft support, the only way to fix the game for now is to delete the Premium Toy Box Pack files from the Xbox 360 hard drive - though some have said that this doesn't seem to be working for them. Maybe they did it wrong? Maybe they didn't? We'll let you know when a fix is in for this stuff.
