While you can't buy a PS3 Jailbreak in Australia - and soon you probably won't be able to do it in America - a group of smart hackers have enabled several smart phones to do the job. According to Engadget, you can hack your PS3 with a tethered smartphone. Working with the people behind the PSGroove PS3 Jailbreak, hacker Kakaroto has adapted the same jailbreak to the Nokia N900, and the open-source community has already ported the hack to the Palm Pre.
While I haven't tested these hacks (mainly because I’m not into that sort of stuff) there are several videos that show these hacks in action. Here's a video of PSFreedom for Palm Pre and another showing off the PSJailbreak for Nokia N900 in action.

Re: PS3 Jailbreak Lives on via Several Smartphone Hacks
So how many device can hack a PS3 now? Honestly I'm expecting and old NES to be able to hack into the ps3.

There seems to be a huge following of people trying to port this to anything they can get their hands on now. Somewhat like how some people like putting linux on their toaster. Last I saw they had it running on a TI-84+ calculator.
