The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences announced today that it would induct BioWare co-founders Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk into its hall of fame. The duo responsible for some of the greatest role-playing game series ever made (Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age - to name a few) will also speak at AIAS' 2011 D.I.C.E. event.
Epic Games president Mike Capps will present the award to the duo on February 10 at the Interactive Achievement Awards at the D.I.C.E. summit in Las Vegas.
"We're truly honored to represent our teams of passionate, hard-working, creative staff across the BioWare Group within Electronic Arts, and they all share this award with us," said Muzyka. "Driving BioWare's success past, present and future are the amazing family of people we have been privileged to work with over the years and our shared core values of quality in our workplace, quality in our products, and entrepreneurship in a context of humility and integrity."
"We'd also like to thank our wives and the families of our employees for their continuous support over the years, which together with the hard work of our great teams continually enables BioWare's success," added Zeschuk.
D.I.C.E. is an annual gathering of business, development, publishing and film professionals. Each year the entertainment industry gets together at the event to talk about important trends, issues, and the businesses the represent. Source: Gamasutra

Copyright infringement is nothing more than civil disobedience to a bad set of laws. Let's renegotiate them.

Oh Dragon Age wasn't that bad. It was not as good as some Bioware games, but was better than most western RPG's out there. I enjoyed it :)

Congratulations to both of them!
I have had the fortune to meet them years ago as a kid when I went to visit my friend's cousin at the Bioware office in Edmonton, back when they were working on MDK2 and Baldur's Gate. Ah memories. I am glad they are getting well deserved recognition.
