BoneCraft: Orcs, Elves, and Sex

The creators of the x-rated game BoneTown, are setting their sights on a sci-fi fantasy world game called "BoneCraft." Announced at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) this week, BoneTown developer D-Dub Software takes aim at the fantasy MMO market with a risqué game involving humans, elves, orcs, "BoneTown-style fighting," and of course - sex..

BoneCraft is described by its developers as a "fantasy/sci-fi parody game that will appeal to both the adult gamers who have always loved BoneTown and to the legions of fans of the fantasy/sci-fi genre." Players will "be able to experience what has never been possible in other games of the genre— taking the action all the way to the bedroom." The game plays off the popularity of Blizzard's World of Warcraft and StarCraft games.

Saucy, naughty and NSFW. The CEO of D-Dub does his best to explain what the game is all about:

"In BoneCraft, fantasy meets sci-fi in a way only D-Dub could do it. We have elf prostitutes, horny orcs, drunken space marines... These two genres have been done a million times, and we’re doing something new to them by making a version that’s adult and humorous," says D-Dub CEO Hod.

Well, the trailer was good for a laugh anyway. Though I think the only reason the original Bonetown sold any was out of the sheer novelty of it, not actual quality. Honestly, I'm still waiting for a real market of interesting, fun, and sexy adult themed games (funny or serious), that aren't complete messes to play or look like they were made by a dev team of one on their laptop. I can't stand anime/manga style visuals, so the whole Japanese hentai market is out of the question, and there's too much creepy lolicon bullshit to sift through to find the real women anyway (among other wierd fetishes).

I mean, I'm not sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for porn, but of the few adult games I've played, they've all sucked. And not in the fun way.

But Bonetown sucked.... i mean really badly. From a gaming/technological standpoint certain areas of the game were absolutely confusing and unplayable. The voice acting was shit too, if i remember correctly (it's been quite a while since i tried it, years possibly)
