UK games industry trade group UKIE announced that it is sponsoring for the Digital Shoreditch Festival. Taking place May 3 - 7, the Digital Shoreditch Festival is a "digital playground" featuring open houses, large-scale projection screens, interactive artwork, augmented reality games, and late night parties provided by the local community of digital businesses.
The festival will end with a one day summit featuring festival founders PlayGen, London Metropolitan University, Less Rain, Albion, and Intro. There will also be a family day with digital interactive displays, installations and artwork, and a 3D printing conference and exhibition called Thingmakers.
Also taking place during the event will be The SCAMP conference. Hosted by SheSays, the conference will examine how digital businesses influence other creative industries, with designers, artists, educators, advertisers, and technologists offering keynotes.
Tickets for the event are available via the official website. UKIE members can get a 10 percent discount from the UKIE website.
