Indie Festival IndieCade Now Accepting Game Submissions

May 18, 2011

IndieCade, the International Festival of Independent Games, announced that submissions are now being accepted for its 2011 Festival. Past winners have included games such as Braid, N, and Humans vs. Zombies. The Indie Game Showcase @ E3 Expo (June 7 -9) will include highlights from past showcases and preview the upcoming IndieCade Festival, scheduled to invade Culver City, California October 6-9. The deadline for submissions is May 31.

The festival program is open to the public and includes gallery exhibitions from finalist games, artist presentations, workshops, and street games. A professional conference will feature previews of new works, sessions and workshops with game makers and industry leaders. Additional activities include social events, evening programs, special VIP and networking events, night games, city-wide gameplay, and a Red Carpet Award Ceremony.

You can learn more about IndieCade and submit your game at www.IndieCade.com.

Re: Indie Festival IndieCade Now Accepting Game Submissions

"Now accepting"?

Early Submissions March 1 - March 31, 2011: The early submission processing fee is $35.

Standard Submissions April 1 - May 31, 2011: The standard submission processing fee $45.

Late Submissions June 1 - 15, 2011: Submissions Close May 31, 2011, however late submissions will be accepted from June 1 - June 15, 2011 for a $70 processing fee.

I'd say this is a bit late...

Re: Indie Festival IndieCade Now Accepting Game Submissions

Yup. Now accepting. As in accepting now. As in at this moment. As in same as they were since March. As in, there hasn't been a pause since then. They are now accepting.

Go back to your bridge lest the rays of the sun hit you.

Re: Indie Festival IndieCade Now Accepting Game Submissions

I'm not the one who obviously doesn't understand the concept of "now".
