Survey: Female Gamers Prefer Gaming over Sex

Maybe someone is doing something wrong? According to a survey commissioned by (of all people) Doritos, 84 percent of women gamers said they enjoyed playing games more than any other activity including sex (70 percent), working out (62 percent), shopping (71 percent), and takings baths (75 percent). Nearly one in five female gamers (17 percent) also admitted they play online games in bed.

The survey also founded that Women play online games for longer periods of time than men. Participants said that they spent an average of 3.5 hours playing online games each week. 23.1 percent of women's time online is spent gaming, compared with 22.3 percent for males. The survey of 2,052 people found that 49 percent of women play online games, almost matching the percentage (50 percent) of men that game online.

The survey was commissioned by the snack maker to coincide with the launch of its new Facebook game, Doritos Dip Desperado.

"Social and mobile gaming is hugely popular and, as the survey reveals, amongst women as much as men," said Doritos marketing manager Hugo Amos. "We wanted to create a game that is fun and entertaining for everyone. It will be exciting to see who tops the Doritos Dip Desperado Facebook leaderboard over coming weeks."

This is to be expected? No? How many of you men out there are budding Don Juan's? Whats that? No smooth talkers out there among the geeks? How about how long young men can "hold it" until you blow your wad? 15 min if you lucky? A woman's "engine" isnt even purring after 15 min.

And we all wonder why the girls like the games more than the guys...

Thank god my wife took the time to train me adequately in year one of our marriage.

Not related, but a fun fact nonetheless: Outside of humans, the only other species on the planet that have sex for recreation are dolphins and chimpanzees.

A woman's clitoris contains 8,000 nerve endings. The male foreskin (the man's most sensitive erogenous zone) contains 20,000. Given that, it's not surprising that sex for a woman is not all it is for a man. Heck, if I only had the 4,000 nerves that a circumcised penis has, I'd probably enjoy games more than sex too.

At least in the US it is not surprising. US culture is still pretty sex negative when it comes to females and probably will be for several more generations.

...NOT THAT WE LIKE FOOTBALL AND BEER MORE THAN SEX. No sir. We're men so clearly sex is top of the list. We would've scored it 110% in that survey.
