Police are actively looking for an African American male who stole nearly $4,000 in Madden NFL 12 video games from an Orange Park, Florida Walmart. The incident happened at the Walmart on County Road 220 on the afternoon of August 31. The suspect has been at large ever since, but police are showing off surveillance footage (to your left) from the store in hopes of apprehending him. According to a Clay County Sheriff's Office report of the incident, the manager and an employee in the electronics department noticed a display containing the latest Madden game had been completely emptied between noon and 1 p.m.
After checking the store's inventory, the manager noted that the games had not been sold, so the store's loss prevention agent checked the surveillance video. The video showed the suspect stopping his cart at the display, selecting several games, and walking off. In other video (which has not been released to the public), the suspect enters the hardware section of the store, takes a screwdriver from a shelf and pries open the games to do away with the security features.
The loss prevention agent says that the video shows the suspect repeating this process until the display was empty. The final number of games stolen? Loss prevention says that 54 copies of the game have been reported missing for PS3 and Xbox 360.
The video shows the man hiding the games somewhere on his person, walking out of the store and getting into a white 4-door vehicle.
The value of the games is $3,287.84.

Wow. I'm actually really amazed nobody noticed this. He opened 54 copies of the game in the hardware section with a screwdriver without anyone noticing. That's quite an accomplishment.
