Nintendo announced this morning that Hulu Plus will soon be available on both the Wii and the 3DS. The popular streaming media service for TV shows and movies will be added to both systems by the end of the year. Nintendo also announced new features being added to the Nintendo 3DS system, including the ability to record 3D videos, new musical artists coming to Nintendo Video and a new animated 3D video from DreamWorks Animation. Additionally, Nintendo 3DS owners will soon see four new downloadable games and applications published by Nintendo in the Nintendo eShop.
Wii and Nintendo 3DS users will be able to stream thousands of TV episodes from content partners like ABC, Comedy Central, FOX, NBC, MTV and many more. Hulu Plus is available through a separate subscription fee of $7.99 per month with limited advertising.
At the end of November, a new system update will deliver new features and enhancements to Nintendo's newest portable including 3D video capture (up to 10 minutes of 3D video and 3D stop-motion animation videos), new puzzles for the StreetPass Mii Plaza and a new dungeon to Find Mii. Other features will be announced in the future.
