UK-based game industry charity GamesAid has announced a date and venue for its next Darts Night, the proceeds of which will go towards "a diverse range of charities." The next GamesAid Darts Night will take place on November 23 at The Horseshoe pub (24 Clerkenwell Close, EC1R 0AG) in London. MPG Universal have signed on as the event’s official sponsor.
The competition will take place in pairs, and players may sign up in twos or be paired with a friend on the night of the competition. GamesAid encourages attendees to wear "fancy dress" and to make use of the personalized walk on music.
For those in the London area that want to take part, the entry fee is £20 per person. Donations can be made at JustGiving.com. “We are very happy to be associated with the GamesAid Darts night, in our experience it’s a great event that is enjoyed by everyone as well as raising money for all the fantastic charities that GamesAid supports,” MPG’s business development director Noel Krohn stated. “We hope that as many people as possible make an effort to come and make this the huge success it deserves to be.”
