The six-day charity marathon, Desert Bus For Hope, has finally made it to its destination and its cargo seems to be suitcases full of cash for the Child's Play Charity. After six full days (150 hours) of playing the ultra-boring "Desert Bus" mini-game from the unreleased Sega CD game Penn and Teller's Smoke and Mirrors, the group that included the creators of the Loading, Ready Run web show and other masochists managed to raise $378,895 for the Child's Play charity.
Videos of the six-day-long ordeal can be found at the charity's official website - along with fan art created during the marathon and a record of all the other craziness that occurred during the nearly week-long virtual bus ride.
