Gamer and game industry-powered children's charity Child's Play has managed to raise an impressive $1.5 million in 2011 so far, with over $10 million donations made to date since it was launched by Penny Arcade's founders in 2003. This year's target number is $2 million, which is still a reachable goal before January 1, 2012.
Those interested in helping the charity - which provides toys and interactive entertainment to sick children in hospitals around the world - can do so by either checking out the remainder of its December events or by making a donation directly to the organization at its official web site.
