The Associated Press has named its top ten games of 2011, with Portal 2 taking the top honors, followed by Skyrim, Deus Ex: Human, Revolution, the indie darling Bastion, and Batman Arkham City.
"It's essentially a series of abstract puzzles, and yet, Portal 2 delivers one of the year's most satisfying — and malevolently funny — stories," wrote AP's Lou Kesten.

2. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Bethesda Softworks)
3. Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Square Enix)
