A Kickstarter campaign for Election War Room has been launched, with the hopes of securing enough funding from the crowd to finish the development of this election-year strategy board game for iOS-based devices.
Election War Room is described by its creator (Chris Law) as a turn-based iPhone game that you play against your friends in a fight for the hearts and minds (and votes) of the American electorate. You play as either a campaign manager for President Barack Obama or Republican challenger Mitt Romney. The ultimate goal of the game is to control more than half of the electoral votes in the key battleground states at the end of 8 turns.
Currently the project has only managed to raise $270 from nine backers, with 26 more days to go. The hope is to raise $6,000 to finish the game before its August release.
You can find out more details about the game on its Kickstarter page or watch the video pitch to your left.
