For the past two years, Humble Bundle has been bundling up various independently developed bits of gaming goodness and for a limited time, allowing buyers to set their price and dictate how they want it divided up between the developers, different charities and Humble Bundle itself.
Several past bundles have been themed around titles from a specific developer (Frozenbyte, Introversion, Amanita Design) and a couple have focused on Android games but this week, Humble Bundle broke the mold with its Humble Music Bundle, a collection of music from artists such as Jonathan Coulton (“Still Alive,” Portal), They Might Be Giants, and Hitoshi Sakimoto (Valkyria Chronicles). Humble Bundle has frequently included game soundtracks with its various bundles but this is the first time it’s offered a bundle game-free.
Which makes us wonder, what kind of themed Humble Bundle would you like to see in the future? Do you want an RPG bundle with games like Cthulhu Saves the World? Maybe you really dug Resonance and are jonesing for a point-and-click adventure bundle? Perhaps a collection of MMOFPSRTSRPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter Real Time Strategy Roll Playing Game)?
How about a bundle of successful Kickstarter projects like Double Fine Adventure, Wasteland 2 and Shadowrun Returns?
This week’s poll offers a few ideas but if you want something totally unique, select the "Other" option and let us know in the comments what type of bundle butters your bread. You can even email your suggestions to SuperPACPodcast@gmail.com or post them on our Facebook if you’re so inclined. As always, we’ll reveal the results on the next Super Podcast Action Committee along with any of your suggestions that strike our fancy.
Remember, voting will make you a goddamn sexual tyrannosaurus. Just like me.
