Nexon America Launches 2012 Presidential Election Event in Maple Story

September 10, 2012 -

Nexon America has launched a Maple Story quest event that puts an emphasis on participating in the 2012 presidential election. The vent is comprised of a number of in-game activities including polling registered players about which candidate for president they plan on choosing, along with a brand new set of quests and other in-game events promoting the presidential election. Players who take the time to vote will be rewarded with an in game item.

Those interested in learning more about the in-game event can do so by watching this video and another video created by Nexon and available on YouTube. Nexon America has also teamed up with Rock-The-Vote campaign to encourage players to register to vote in the real world and get out to the polls on November 6.

Nexon America confirmed that Mitt Romney and Barack Obama are the only candidates you can vote for, so if that is a deal-breaker for you because you support someone else... well consider the deal broken..

You can find out more about the event by visiting maplestory.nexon.net.

"My presidential candidate has no nose!"

Re: Nexon America Launches 2012 Presidential Election Event ...

Just what this country needs, more reenforcement that we live in a two party system of government. I would have been happy if the poll had the option of "other". At least then, we would have seen a little more far representation of the actual political climate.

Sadly the two party system pretty much outcasts anyone who is not a drone of it.

Copyright infringement is nothing more than civil disobedience to a bad set of laws. Let's renegotiate them.
