RuneScape makers Jagex continues to shore up its executive team with high profile hires. The latest is Rob Ollett, the former Managing Director of Bigpoint. Ollett will lead the charge in Jagex's push beyond RuneScape into third-party publishing via a new publishing platform.
"It’s with great pleasure that we welcome Rob to Jagex,” said the studio’s CMO David Solari. "We have big plans for 3rd party publishing and Rob’s experience in this area makes him perfectly placed to excel in this role. Alongside growing our existing third-party IP portfolio, Rob will be instrumental in scaling our third-party strategy in 2013 and beyond."

Prior to joining Jagex Ollett handled licensing and the development of third-party online games at Bigpoint. Prior to that he worked at Dubit and Fun Technologies as VP of business development.
