Zynga will shut down two of its games in early December, with plans to close 11 additional titles later on down the road. This news follows word that the company would close its Boston offices and reduce five percent of its workforce from offices in Austin, the UK, and Japan.
The first games to be shut down on December 3 will be Treasure Isle and FishVille. While the games performed well for the social games giant, they are now garnering well under a million monthly active users and well under 100,000 daily active users. Details on which 11 games the company plans to shut down are unknown at this time but we'll let you know more as information becomes available.
