The Kickstarter for Barkley 2, the follow-up to the 2008 hit indie RPG Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, closed its crowd funding campaign just over the amount it needed to get fully funded, reports Polygon.
The Kickstarter for the game officially closed on Dec. 28 with $120,335 raised - only $335 over its second stretch goal. By hitting that $120K mark, developer Tales of Game's will now include some extra features including animated cut scenes. Earlier stretch goals added a new dungeon, a New Game + mode and more.
Barkley 2 picks up almost right after the end of the previous title. The game is set in 666X, as an amnesiac ball-player sets out to find the Cyberdwarf, who can apparently reveal the memories he has lost. Barkley 2 will continue the bizarre humor of the first title along with lots of exploration and choices.
The game is being developed for PC and Mac.
