With just four more days to go until its Kickstarter ends, Digital Eel's campaign to fund its next game in the Strange Adventure series has met its funding goal: the game has raised $31,240 on its original funding goal of $30,000 from 1,449 backers.
With this milestone met, Digital Eel has revealed the team that will work on Infinite Space 3: Sea of Stars, along with new stretch goals in this Kickstarter update. Along with the revelation of new stretch goals (which are met with every extra $10,000 met), Digital Eel revealed the team working on the game: Iikka Keranen (Ion Storm, Looking Glass, Rogue and Valve); Rich Carlson (Ion Storm, contract work on various games); cartoonist Max Badger; digital artist/web developer David Cash; developer Christopher Greenhaw (American Mcgee's Alice and Halo 3); 3d environment artist Jami Moravetz (Resistance on PSP and Counter Strike: Global Offensive); and composer and musician Edwin Sykes (BBC radio drama "The Scarifyers"); and artist W. Ralph Walters (various heavy metal album covers, and host of the Zombie Astronaut podcast).
One of the new stretch goals is the simultaneous development of Linux and Mac versions of the game to be released at the same time as the Windows version of the game. For more details, and to back this project, check out the Kickstarter page.
