Yesterday it was revealed that Microsoft planned to hold the line on pricing for retail game discs for Xbox One to current levels at right around $60. Today we learn that Sony will use the same price point for PlayStation 4 retail game discs. Speaking to Shacknews, an unnamed Sony representative told the publication that the price point was actually revealed when it "announced the pricing" for its "first-party lineup of PS4 launch and launch window games."
"All four titles, Killzone: Shadow Fall, DriveClub, Knack, and inFamous: Second Son are all $59.99."
Third-party publishers such as Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, and Activision have not formally announced pricing for their PlayStation 4 and Xbox One titles, but one would expect that those prices will be in line with first-party title pricing.
Both consoles are set for release by the end of the year.

Probably some doubters as Microsoft says (and I'm putting the emphasis on says) that No Used games = lower prices overall, but Sony proved them them wrong with this price point.
Another Gaffe that Sony took advantage of is that F2P games won't require a PSN+ Sub, while World of Tanks 360 REQUIRES Gold
