Crowd Funding Campaign Launches for TJ's World

July 23, 2013 -

A Kickstarter campaign has launched for TJ's World, an interactive educational program described by its creators as "Mobile Kindergarten." TJ's World offers a cross platform, cloud based, "learn as you play" preschool and kindergarten in one application.

It promises to promote (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) skills in young children, focusing on language and reading skills, math, science, social studies, family and life skills, physical development, health and safety, and social and emotional development. Much of this teaching is done using "TJ & Pals," a group of animated everyday objects that children can relate to such as a pencil, paintbrush, eraser, scissors etc. who teach and inspire in an exciting and fun way. Part of the funding will also help create a foundation to help children in underprivileged countries who do not have access to effective early education.

You can learn more about TJ's World by checking out the pitch video to your left or by visiting its Kickstarter page.

Organizers of the Kickstarter hope to raise $100,000.
