Warner Bros. to Publish The Witcher 3 in North America

Warner Bros. has secured the rights to publish CD Projekt Red's next game in The Witcher series in North America. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will distribute and promote The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in North America. We assume this includes all versions of the game except on digital distribution platforms such as Steam and Good Old Games.

In a statement announcing the deal, CD Projekt Red president Adam Kicinski said the launch of The Witcher 3 is "the most important event in CD Projekt's history" and called Warner Bros. a "extremely valuable partner" based on its experience the American market. Warner Bros. published The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition in North America.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently in development for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC for release in 2014.
