Three more executives have left Zynga this month, according to a GII report. The latest executives to exit stage left include Jesse Janosov, Vice President of casino gaming; and John Osvald and Nathan Etter - who are both Vice Presidents in the games division.
Janosov's exit from the company is of no great shock to anyone following Zynga - the company announced last week that it has no present plans to pursue the lucrative real-money online gambling market in the United States. Investors had hoped that the company would take advantage of online gambling being legal in New Jersey, Nevada, and Delaware...
John Osvald and Nathan Etter left the company when Zynga appointed Don Mattrick as its new CEO. Etter has taken a job at Disney's Interactive division, while Osvald's next gig is unknown as of this writing.
Zynga has struggled in recent months to transition its social games from Facebook and the web to mobile devices, and has seen many of its most popular Facebook games lose a lion's share of its daily active users. The company is putting a lot of faith in Mattrick to steer the company in the right direction.
