Call of Duty Modern Warfare Writer Gets Greenlight From CBS for 'Insecurity'

September 27, 2013 - GamePolitics Staff

It looks like the fellow behind the stories for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 1 and 2 has had his latest television project greenlit by CBS. NCIS: LA creator Shane Brennan has teamed with video game writer Jesse Stern for a show called Insecurity. The duo previously worked together on the mothership NCIS series.

Written by Stern, Insecurity is all about an obsessive compulsive former Federal Agent who now works at a Boston art museum. Raised by criminals, the protagonist of the show uses his unique skill set to solve local and federal crimes that are often too complex for authorities to figure out on their own.

This is Stern’s second show sale this season; he also has a comedy Thursdays with Breckin Meyer, Sony TV and Fanfare at NBC.
