Poll Results: What to do with the Kinect When Using Xbox One

September 30, 2013 - GamePolitics Staff

In last week's poll we asked our readers "What would you do with the Kinect when the Xbox One’s not in use?" The majority of those who participated in the poll said that they would simply unplug it, while a small portion of respondents said that they would leave it plugged in and go about the business of playing games or whatever else they enjoy doing on Xbox One.

Around 256 votes were cast in last week's poll, with 66 percent of those votes (169 votes) indicating that an unplugged Kinect is the best way to deal with Microsoft's motion sensing camera device. Around 18 percent (45 votes) indicated that they would leave it plugged in and enabled. Around 11 percent (28 votes) said that if they left it plugged in they'd aim it at the wall. Finally five percent of the votes (28 votes) went to the option of simply disabling it.

Thanks to everyone who voted in last week's poll. Look for a new poll later this week! For a more in-depth discussion on this week's poll check out the latest episode of the Super Podcast Action Committee.

At least one of those "unplug it" votes would have been a "don't have a Kinect in the first place" vote, had that been an option.

Or in my case, "don't have an XBox One in the first place".

Yes, well, since the 'Bone always comes with Kinect, my option *is* your option...  ;)
