Rockstar Games has released an update to Grand Theft Auto Online on the PS3, with plans to release the update for Xbox 360 "as soon as possible." The online companion service to Grand Theft Auto V has had a rough start since it launched on Oct. 1, with many fans having trouble logging in and staying connected to the service - amongst a host of other technical issues. Some players claim that they have been unable to play GTAO at all.
"We're currently working on a title update for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to address commonly reported issues with GTA Online," the developer said in an update on its website yesterday. "We hope to have it out for download as soon as tomorrow."
The company also temporarily disable micro-transactions in the game yesterday.

GTA V launched last month for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, generating a $800 million on launch day alone and $1 billion in the first three days of availability.
