River City Ransom: Underground Meets Funding Goal

October 7, 2013 - GamePolitics Staff

River City Ransom: Underground reached its initial $180,000 funding goal on Kickstarter. The game still has a few stretch goals, but not too much time left to meet them. If the stretch goal of $280,000 is met, the developers will port the game to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. If they can hit the $320,000 mark, they promise to bring it to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and if they manage to get to $360,000 they'll port it to Xbox One.

"We don't consider Kickstarter a 'pre-order' system, so to us, backing our project means you're supporting our vision for the game and want to see it happen," the developer warned on its Kickstarter page. "Though we'll bring our game to Windows first, we will then consider as many platforms as we possibly can, based on time, resources, and license approvals. The platform story doesn't end with this Kickstarter, and we're talking to all of the major players to make sure we get the game to as many people as possible."

Time is limited, so if you want to help this project meet one of those stretch goals, you can do so here.
