Capcom predicts that its next game in its third-person zombie apocalypse series, Dead Rising 3, will sell over 1.2 million copies on Xbox One. This prediction on sales of the Xbox One exclusive was part of a financial document for the first half of the financial year ending March 31, 2014. While Capcom might be excited about that number, it's a lot lower than the original game for Xbox 360, which sold 1.8 million copies. The multi-platform sequel did much better with 2.8 million units sold.
The document also revealed that it expects the 3DS title Monster Hunter 4 to sell over 3.3 million copies by the end of the financial year. Capcom predicts that Resident Evil Revelations Unveiled Edition and Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen have met expectations, selling one million and 650,000 units respectively. Sadly, Lost Planet 3 fell short of its expectations, shifting just 300,000 copies worldwide
