EA DICE has published an update to the Battlelog detailing its work to improve Battlefield 4 across multiple platforms.
In a post on Battlelog today DICE said it hoped to get an update for the PS4 version out early next week and that it was dealing with a distributed denial-of-service attack (DDoS attack) that made the PC version of the game unplayable for most of the weekend.
"We are aware of the frequent crashes in Battlefield 4 on PlayStation 4. We are hard at work identifying these issues and are hoping to get a game update out early next week. Stay tuned for more details as we can confirm them, and thanks for your patience!"
An update for the Xbox 360 version is undergoing final testing, DICE noted, saying that it would be live "soon." Finally, a new update is in the works for the PC version aimed at fixing a number of remaining issues. DICE did not offer a timeframe for the release of that update.
