Blizzard Teams Up With Make-A-Wish Foundation

November 22, 2013 - GamePolitics Staff

Blizzard Entertainment is teaming up with Make-A-Wish Foundation to help the charity make the dreams of sick children in the United States fulfill a wish. World of Warcraft players can purchase the Alterac Brew Pup pet ($10) today, with $5 going to Make-A-Wish. Players can also buy Blizzard's first-ever charity bundle, featuring the Pup and an all-new Enchanted Fey Dragon flying mount for $30, with $5 going to charity. The Enchanted Fey Dragon mount is also available for purchase by itself for $25, though none of the money will go to Make-A-Wish if you purchase it that way.

The special World of Warcraft Make-A-Wish charity drive will run until December 31, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

Blizzard also has announced support for those affected by the typhoon that recently devastated parts of the Philippines, killed an estimated 10,000 people and left millions of people homeless. Blizzard is matching employee donations for typhoon relief made to the American Red Cross.
