Charity Gaming for Good has managed to raise over $10 million, according to this Kotaku report. The charity founded by celebrity gamer Bachir Boumaaza (known better for his internet moniker "Athene") this week managed to raise $10,035,284.

Gaming for Good gets game donations from publishers and developers for charity. The group then gets gamers to donate money for points, which they can then spend on the donated games. The proceeds from those points redeemed for games go to charity when it's all said and done.
